First of all, thank you to Hideaways for setting everything up for me. This was a fabulous trip and could not have been more perfect. As always, Katia was the best!

My latest Italian excursion started out in Rome, with a visit to the Stay Inn. It was in a fantastic location. I stepped directly out onto Via del Corso right across from the Nike store, Sephora, etc. Still, it was a quiet room—no street noise, or else I was so jet-lagged I didn’t notice. It was not a large room, but very adequate and updated (very nice bathroom). Kind of city chic. The desk people were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast (included) was very good. The location fit with my desire not to take a taxi, because I was able to take the Leonardo into Termini and then the metro to the Spanish Steps. I would definitely go back to this hotel. It may not fit everyone (it’s not as elegant as the Albergo Cesari), but it was clean, friendly, and convenient.
