The trip was for the SATTE, which is the South Asia Travel and Tourism Exposition--a travel trade show putting buyers together with seller. We were sponsored for the show by Cox and Kings, a 250-year-old company, i.e. the oldest travel agency and tour operator in the world, dating back to colonial times in India and started by Mr. Cox, an Englishman who apparently was responsible for transporting soldiers back and forth from India to England. They also are our sponsors for a post-exhibition tour that will include Agra (for the Taj Mahal), Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and then finally fly to Mumbai and back to the U.S. Basically we’re taking in the most touristed areas of central and northwestern India, or the Golden Triangle.
