Hideaways Ambassador's Report: A Mountaintop Experience |

I could barely get my camera out fast enough as I stepped outside the Mount Nelson HotelTHC and looked toward Table Mountain, which loomed in the distance. A curtain of clouds was just lifting off Cape Town's distinctive tabletop rock formation, crisp white beyond the pink walls of the hotel. Click! Click!
That's the way it was during our entire six-week sojourn across Africa—one great photo op after another. After traveling through Botswana and Namibia with our grown children (and shooting tons of photos) my husband, Don, and I found ourselves alone for a few days. We decided to visit Cape Town, just because we thought we should see it. A great decision, as it turned out.
