In a sophisticated, blue-blood city like Boston, sometimes it takes someone down to earth (and closer to the ground) to make visitors really feel welcome. Hideaways International: Who came up with the idea of a canine ambassador?
Jim Carey: Our General Manager, Jon Crellin, suggested the idea. He had visited our Vancouver properties and been impressed with their canine ambassadors. He thought that a similar program here would give our hotel that "home-away-from-home" feel, and that guests missing their pets would take advantage of the chance to meet Catie Copley.
