Comments:
Great get-away (since I have been there several times). I was disappointed this time however with the trash and turtle grass that has accumulated on the beach.

Comments:
Villa Tara Flora is a beautiful and secluded property that has a spectatular view of the ocean. I have visited there several other times, but problems with turtle grass washed up on the limited beach area may discourage return visits. I loved to snorkle the coral reefs that were just short distance from the back door of the villa, but there were three foot high piles of grass and debris that inhibited our seaside activities.

Comments:
We were put in a 2-BR at Pools of the Kai which was ok. Negative was 2 children (under 2 years) next door in a 1-BR took away from "tranquility." Also cannot swim in the bay where we were (mucky bottom) and no one knew where to rent bikes on the northside! "Trip to Stingray City" on the catamaran was great! "Rum Point" is an excellent beach and swim area.

Comments:
Excellent diving. Swam with large Hammer Head Sharks while diving. The home was ideal for a most relaxed vacation. Everything went perfectly. Thank you Hideaways!

Highlights of our vacation included scuba diving at Surfside, which is close to the house we stayed in and is a first rate operation. Some of the best snorkeling is on that side of the island. Sting Ray City is 10-15 minutes off shore.

Comments:
"We'll Sea" is the absolutely ideal spot for two or four people to have a totally relaxing, hassle-free vacation. I would describe the house and furnishings as "luxuriously informal." The owners have spared no expense to equip it with every amenity, and yet it is very warm, inviting and comfortable. The beach is beautiful and while not actually private, it is certainly secluded. The only time we saw any people they were just passing by, probably taking a walk, as we did several times a day. This side of the island is quiet and informal with no night life or family restaurants. Don't bother taking anything dressier than shorts and sandals. Fishing, snorkeling and diving are fabulous and very inexpensive. The few people we did see were very nice and very accommodating. There is no crime and no one bothers to lock anything. We're going back at the first opportunity. Great vacation.

We first rented "No Big Ting," and it was awful. There were lots of odors from mildew, outdated lighting, and bugs everywhere. Cayman Kai Garden House was wonderful, we loved it. I'll do the rating on the Garden Home.

The location of the property was too remote for me, but my husband loved it!

Comments:
The arrangements made by Hideaways were exceptionally good. The picture we were shown of the house was taken prior to a hurricane which totally destroyed the beach. In fact there was no beach. There was sand between the house and the water, but that sand ended a great distance before reaching the water and all that was left was very sharp dead coral. In fact, it was absolutely impossible to even get to the water from our house. The sand itself was full of white bleached coral heads which protruded from the sand and which could not be seen simply walking on the beach. A suitable beach was fortunately only a couple of minutes away by car. We were not supposed to be able to use the pool at the main facility. We were told the pool was reserved for members at the main facility, not those renting individual homes. They finally relented and allowed us to use the pool. The extent of the maid service was simply making the beds. In fact, we were left to wash the sheets ourselves.

Condo setting was lovely. It was right on a beautiful beach in a quiet section of Grand Cayman. Many of the condo furnishings and appliances were too shopworn to be acceptable. Most notably the stove, refrigerator and living room furniture. Also, the carpet was not clean enough.

"Fingertips" is an outstanding house with a great setting. The only problem is its distance to town and the other activities are approximately 40 minutes away.

Comments:
We loved the seclusion, but found it inconvenient for groceries, etc. Two good restaurants in the area, The Rum Point Club and The Lighthouse. Our grounds were especially secluded and well landscaped. The house was very attractive, tastefully furnished and well equipped. We would have liked the water to be a bit deeper.

The house was just beautiful, more than expected. Remote, but not really! Sunsets are a favorite with us and we were not disappointed.

Comments:
The exquisite beauty of the location was incredible. Our first view of the ocean from the wrap around windows in the livingroom was breathtaking. The snorkeling was splendid--right off our beach. Property needs a little loving care to keep at its peak. This is a wonderful property for those who need to get away from all tension. We loved it!

Tara Flora location, view, seclusion, etc. excellent. Grand Cayman restaurants also excellent. Cayman Kai personnel very nice, helpful.

Comments:
The accommodations were superb. We had our own private pool which you could literally jump into from your bedroom suite. Not much beach. Would definitely go again.

The house and accommodations were wonderful. We were told the beach outside our door was great for snorkleing. Not true. The beach was inaccessible due to many rocks and debris. We had to go to Rum Point for a decent beach.
