Comments:
We've stayed in ten resorts and villas in the Caribbean, and Ocean Club proved to be our all-time favorite. Our condo afforded a great view of the 12-mile-long white-sand beach on beautiful Grace Bay, and despite our fear that Provo in March would be cold, the air was always warm and comfortable. The water, though never sultry, was fine enough, too. We had a well-equipped kitchen and - wonder of wonders - a washer and dryer. Other pluses: Two restaurants on the premises, one - the newly renamed Opus - among the island's best, and an informal cafe beachside that serves all three meals and provides help-yourself coffee, tea, and ice-water. A free shuttle will also take you to its sister resort, Ocean Club West, where there's a very good outdoor restaurant. Other shuttles will take you shopping or dining elsewhere (for a fare). Also, there's a pretty good convenience store providing wine, beer, booze, ice cream, drinking water, and most other groceries, though not much in the way of fresh fruit or sandwich fillings. The place is extremely well run, with a friendly staff, and is ideal for lazing on the beach - for those who don't crave nightlife. Snorkeling, said to be great, can be easily arranged. One drawback of an oceanfront condo is that it's close to the sometimes-noisy cafe, but we were able to tune that out easily. Our Hideaways agent knew exactly what we wanted, found the very place, and even got us a terrific special deal.

Comments:
Ocean Club West was the better of the Ocean Club Resorts. Kathy did a great job booking us here. We also rented Villa Stonecrest using Hideaways Guide. This was as described - we had a wonderful two weeks at the Villa. We did find that bottled water on the island was the norm.

5th visit to TCI overall very good only this year 2004 construction on both sides of O.C. West made it quite noisey from 6:30 AM till 4:30 PM - Pls advise others about this

Comments:
We alsed for second or third floor ocean front in 11/02- could not guarentee. We got first floor ocean front, no ocean view from 1st floor. Don't understand in 3+ months why they could not meet our request
