Comments:
Villa Rolandi is a beautiful resort - quiet, romantic, and full of charm. Our room was spectacular, and we enjoyed our perk of dinner on the beach. The entire staff is at your service and is courteous, efficient, and pleasant. The food is spectacular. My wife and I are anxious to go back.

Comments:
The property and staff were fantastic! The suites were very nicely appointed and very comfortable. The food was gourmet and beautifully presented. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and it was a real value for all that one received. We plan on returning soon.

Keep in mind we just came from oceanfront suite at Ritz Carlton - 5+ service - check in slow - Nelson didn't know how TV worked - door tough to open, too - called 5 times to get TV to work + at 11 pm to turn it off. Housekeeping left trash; told us we couldn't have beach dinner.

Rooms very nice BUT linens need an upgrade/replacement. They need the elevator which is just now being added. Bar ("The Cozy Cosy") is far too small. Internet access is inadequate. Beach is too small. By the pool may be better. Pool is beautiful. Beach very narrow now.

Comments:
We enjoyed our stay @ the Villa Rolandi; the property and beach are beautiful. We had a wonderful 10 days sitting under a palapa on the white sand beach or by the infinity pool. The restaurant was gourmet - we had some great meals. The staff was excellent - most eager to please. We were surprised at how far out of town we were. It was a 20 min cab drive each way, and cost $4.50 each way. The manager was top-notch; he made every effort to make us happy. People come to the restaurant for lunch and bring their children. They are on the beach, but in the cascade pool screaming. We were disturbed every day from 1 to 3 pm. Management (security) turned off the waterfall (cascade) and tried to get them to be quiet - to no avail. At one time we counted 12 children ages 2-10. Parents/nanny were of no help and didn't supervise their children. This was the one big negative that we experienced.

We are "beach" people. This property had a fair beach. The best beach was at Playa Horte. It is a fabulous beach, but this property Hotel Villa Rolandi, has the best facility on the island.

Our accommodations were very nice. The hotel and restaurant staff were exceptional. We enjoyed every aspect of our trip. All of the accommodations were great.

The people who work at Villa Rolandi were excellent. They could not do enough for you. What they did for us for our 25th aniv. was wonderful. Kudos to: Jesus (dining room). We have made reservations for next year!

We were married last August at this property...what romance AND perfection...we just returned once again from Villa Rolandi, and planning on going back in August to celebrate our 1st Anniversary with them!

Comments:
A stay at Villa Rolandi is like staying at the home of a very wealthy friend. The staff makes everyone feel at home. They are warm and welcoming. The food, service, staff is superb. It is everything we could have hoped for in an island vacation. We will be returning this summer, and, hopefully, every summer from now on.

Comments:
Many non-paying guests use the beach. Many little children were consistently in the lobby, restaurant and beach. The official policy is no children under 13 years. Kudos to: pool - "Pablo" restaurant - "Gilberto" ; "Reyes" & "Jesus."

Comments:
No one was at airport to pick us up. Holtel apologized and gave us $50. Resturant was good but should have a few mexican dishes. Over all the place was great.

Excellent location. Food, restaurant excellent. only problem [was] the time it took to get from airport to island. [We] waited for one hour and 45 minutes for our boat. We had made arrangements but still waited.
