Comments:
I have sent a previous fax, ( and one to vacation a la carte). Overall - good choice - I would rent again. Location excellent. Space very adequate. In general - grade A.

Comments:
Descartes worked out especially well for our small group - four guys attending a trade show at Porte de Versailles. Unfortunately, we spent a lot of time at the show so we couldn't take advantage of some of the amenities the apartment had to offer. We had a rental car some of the time and the parking was really quite good - in fact, right on the street in front of the door! I left a copy of a book on vintage cars (mostly French) for the owner as a gift.

Comments:
Wonderful location close to Rue Mouffetard, which has even more economy restaurants than on our visit a year ago. Only a few blocks from Notre Dame, this spacious apartment made a perfect place to return to at the end of a day. The only thing that bugged me was that the lights didn't work. Many light bulbs were burnt out and had not been replaced. Otherwise, it was great to have a washing machine and equipped kitchen.

Comments:
This was a nice apartment -- not outstanding, but well-equipped and in a fabulous location. We really felt part of a Paris neighborhood. [The apartment] overlooked a beautiful park and garden.

Comments:
My only negative comment regards the bathroom, the light was burned out over the medicine cabinet and the shower head leaked. I missed having a toaster in the kitchen. Other then that, the apt was great.

Comments:
Our first highlight was entering the DesCartes apartment. It's appearance far exceeded our expectations. Its location in the heart of the Latin Quarter made our daily excursions into the surrounding area an event that was both looked forward to and most enjoyable. The convenience of apartment living compared to hotels made this stay in Paris a memorable week, We can't wait to do it again.

The apartment was beautiful. The location was superb. Very convenient with many great restaurants, shops and bakeries within walking distance.

Comments:
TV did not work, two lamps burned out, shower leaked on floor, etc. this place is quite dirty. This apt. is on the 3rd floor, not the second. Elevator too small to include luggage. Probably the worst thing is the bed/bedroom. The bed is very small and confined by walls on two sides. The person on the wall side climbs out of bed at the end of the bed. A real joker.
