Comments:
We stay here as often as we can. We love the resturant and the wonderful meals. A quick walk to the market on Fridays is wonderful.

We use this hotel - coming into Costa Rica and leaving the country - highly recommend.

Comments:
We did not stay at the hotel, although we did view rooms for our next visit. We ate dinner there two nights in a row! The first evening we sat on the beautiful patio and had truly remarkable food at prices we could not believe. Two of us ate and drank for a total bill of less than $50. The second evening we were in Costa Rica unexpectedly, so we didn't book through hideaways. (We were on a cruise when my cabin mate had a medical emergency at we were disembarked by ambulance to the hospital in San Jose where she had surgery. We would love to recommend that specific hospital. Its CIMA San Jose.

Comments:
Hotel was great, restaurant was great. One of our rooms (I think 32) was right off the patio dining area and it was a bit noisy. Noise ended before 11:00. I don't have enough travel experience to assign numbers.

Comments:
This hotel would be great for some people, but it wasn't for us. It is a large house with a lot of rooms. The rooms are extremely small. Our rooms had no outside windows. There is not a pool and the restaurant is very small with no lounge or other place to relax. However, the waiters in the restaurant were friendly people. The bellman took two of our bags and then stood in the doorway while we made two more trips to the car to get the rest of the luggage.
