My View
I had an amazing view of Palm Beach and the high-rise hotel district from my
eighth-floor Tradewinds Club room at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris
Casino.

Freeform Pool
The Aruba Marriott Resort has a beautiful lagoon-like swimming pool, complete
with waterfall and tucked-away hot tub. When it got too crowded, I headed over
to the tranquil adults-only pool.

Great Big Mable
This pull-behind "loveseat" is just one of the many water toys waiting to give
you a thrill along busy Palm Beach. In the background is the brand-new
Ritz-Carlton, Aruba.

Jet Pack
Looks a little James-Bondish, doesn't it? This jet backpack is the easier
version of flyboarding, where you are strapped into water-jet-powered booties
instead.

Cove Snorkeling
Crystal-clear water and calm coves make for perfect snorkeling along Aruba's
southernwestern coast.

"Wow"-Worthy Water
And yes, the water really is that neon-turquoise blue!

Island Safari
A really great way to see more of Aruba and learn some of its history is on a
Land Rover island "safari," like the one I took with De Palm Tours. You would
hardly think you were in the Caribbean when you see the arid landscape along
some of its coastline.

Dramatic Coast
It may be desert-like, right down to sections of towering cacti, but the
northwest coast of Aruba has a beauty all its own.

Paradise Sunset
The Aruba Marriott Resort's "pop-up" restaurant, Simply Fish, was the perfect
place to kick back, toes in the sand, and toast the end of another day in
paradise.
