S, M, or L--Choose Your Just-Right Cruise Size
When it comes to cruising, size does matter. In fact, choosing a ship size may just be your most important cruise decision. A small ship, under 250 or so guests, will be intimate and often luxurious, but also has fewer options for dining and activities. A large ship (up to about 2,200 guests) offers plenty of dining choices and on-board activities, but could lack a sense of warmth and camaraderie. In between, the mid-sized ships of about 250 to 1,000 guests often offer a perfect compromise between activities and intimacy.
