It was very nice, but a little far from Spanish Steps area.

Comments:
The manager was wonderful! We had one little mishap with the maid- when brought to the managers attention she went overboard to correct it and apologize, as did the maid. The rooms were small but nicely appointed and it was great to have a pool after a long hot day of sight seeing! We were disapointed not to be able to walk to restaurants ect. from the hotel but the shuttle service to and from the spanish steps was very helpful. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast buffet and we enjoyed cocktails and dinner at the Al Fresco restaurant by the pool on many evenings.

Comments:
The hotel is situated in the Borghese Gardens. There are a number of museums, walking paths, cultural activities, and galleries within the gardens - a lovely setting. The hotel offers free shuttle service to the center of Rome and to restaurants in the area. They have their own 1-Michelin-star restaurant, "baby," which we did not try.

They have limited smoking rooms in the older wing of the hotel. We opted for a non-smoking room, which was much nicer. We thought breakfast was too expensive for the quality and selection available, both buffet and a la carte. Tips were only accepted in cash and could not be added to room service or bar bills. And yes, we would stay here again.
