Comments:
Very restrictive rules on use of the pool, almost like kids are not welcome, carpet was pretty worn out, ground floor near garbage dumpster.

Comments:
We had an "A" section unit-VERY FORTUNATE!!! I would "not recommend" any B,C, or D units. E & F are satisfactory since they are not "supposedly" ocean view. There is substancial construction going on between B-D units and their "ocean view" of the ocean. I would guess they will have a good view of 3 story condo's in a few months. Also, B-D units are completely exposed to the sun and very hot, you would need to have an A/C on at all times. The units are beautifully appointed and service was excellent. This was our fourth trip to Hawaii and we plan to go again. We will possibly ask for an F or G unit if we decid on the Vista's. The ocean view is so far away as not to be worht the extra charge for an A unit, We would NEVER accept a B-E unit. TOO HOT.

Comments:
Wonderful view - very nicely maintained and quiet - a value when compared to the adjoining hotel property. Would rent unit again without any reservations - great location and view!

Comments:
It is a nice property but most of the units are probably noisy as they are mostly on a busy street. Pool was a lap pool only.

Comments:
We stayed in a very large and well equipped 2BR/2B condo, a little far from the ocean, but the complex has a lovely, oceanview pool and hot tub,with a great open air barbeque area adjacent to it, complete with a fully equipped, common kitchen free for the use of guests. The location of the resort is convenient and sunny, and the golf courses are outstanding.

Comments:
It was extremely expensive, and, because we rented thru South Kohala Mgmt., we did not have free access to all facilities. Also, we had to insist on getting a card-key for the beach club parking lot, it was not offered and given only greedily. We also had an "ocean view" but it was across a lagoon, pool house and bank of trees-little view. This is not to say that we didn't enjoy the luxury of the place and the variety of activities on the huge grounds. It was a great trip altogether, and the weather was perfect. We just thought that we'd be closer to the ocean and that $15/day extra to use the health club was a bit annoying. The beach club is too far away to walk carrying snorkle and other stuff, so access to the drive-in gate was essential and should have been expected.
