We had a wonderful stay in Paris. The St. Germain apartment is exactly as described. It is perfectly situated on the Rue du Bac a few blocks from the Louvre, Museum D'Orsay, and Notre Dame. You could not ask for a better location! The Metro is just across the street, making getting around Paris a breeze. The building is well kept, and the apartment is huge by European standards. I highly recommend it over the smaller hotel rooms if you are traveling with a party of four. There are cafes and bistros at either end of the Ruse du Bac as well as a bakery, market, and plenty of shops just down the street. The neighborhood is very charming and very Parisian. The apartment furniture is a little worn, but that only adds to the charm of the experience. The beds were very comfortable. There is no air conditioning (very few Paris apartments are air-conditioned), but there was a nice breeze with the doors open, as long as you don't mind the sounds of the city of Paris--which can be quite loud at night (we did not mind at all!).
