Comments:
A beautiful property in a lovely, remote area. Good variety of excursions offered by very knowledgable guides. In-house restaurant is the only one available.

Comments:
The service was the best, the gardens were wonderful, and the river--with its polished rocks--was great for swimming. Excellent facilities, but we noticed not entirely handicapped-accessible.

We liked Turtle Inn better because we are ocean people (divers & snorkelers).

Comments:
We wanted to leave at 6:00 AM one morning and 5:00 AM the next. The staff had a special breakfast waiting for us in each case. They were also helpful on border crossing and shopping hints.

No where does material mention 60+ steps to lodge. Seniors need to know this

Comments:
Hideaways didn't know that 2 bedroom villas existed at Blancaneaux. Since we were traveling with another couple, that should have been offered as an option for us. Instead we each had rooms, but they were different in quality. Since the reservations had been made many months before arrival we were surprised at this. Fortunately a 2BR villa was available, and the staff moved us after the first night. Two families with children were guests during our stay. This is a very small facility and having many (@10) children running around is not conducive to a relaxing moment. Staff didn't seem to "get it" when we explained how we felt.
