Comments:
The library was minimal. Also, there is no casual venue for eating at night. Their buffet is turned into an Italian restaurant in the evening. Unless you want a 2-hour dinner at night, ordering room service is your only option.

Comments:
Rooms need some updating -- new rugs . . . should offer choice of either 2 bottles of liquor or bar credit. Disembarkation process should have been communicated earlier and it was too abrupt and too early.

Comments:
I had never wanted to go on a cruise, so I was very pleasantly surprised by Mariner. It was really a fabulous experience. There was absolutely nothing to complain about in any way. The cabin was beautiful and spacious and everything else about the ship was perfect. The food was out of this world! There were three reasons I chose this cruise over others and each one was significant in our enjoyment of the cruise experience. These were (1)the private balconies, (2) the open seating in the dining rooms, and (3) the no-tipping policy. The other reason I chose this cruise was that it offered three days in St. Petersburg instead of the two offered by other cruise lines. Even three days were not enough. My primary reservation about cruises is that you do not really have time to get to know a city the way we like to do and that was true in this case also. St Petersburg needs at least a week if not more. However, we did get a good introduction to the city and we got to visit interesting places like Visby and Tallirk w

Comments:
Overall the Seven Seas Mariner was wonderful and we would definitely recommend it. The positives were extensive:
  • wonderful suite
  • great ship ambiance
  • excellent services
  • not croweded at all even though cruise was fully booked
  • excellent excursions
  • vistas and wildlife exquisite
    There were three somewhat downsides
  • spa was almost totally booked before ship left port
  • entertainment just ok
  • health club crowded at times and more aerobic offerings would have been nice.

    Comments:
    Wow! works for this cruise ship. My advice to anyone is if you can afford it, don't worry about where it is going, just go. Fabulous ship and crew, wonderful food and wines (a red and a white served w/dinner), great champagne, interesting lectures, good entertainment, unobtrusive service and quietly extravagant ship. For me...Radisson does it Right!
