Comments:
The home was wonderful. It's perfect for a large group - we were 9 and even had an exra bedroom. The rooms are enormous and each has a private bath - very unusual in Europe. The setting was beautiful. Cars are a real necessity as it's about 1 mile to the very small Butterstown and 8 miles to the nearest large village with good restaurants. The house is indeed remote so those wanting to walk to stores and shops will not have it here. There is a wonderful restaurant in a private home about 1 mile away called Otto's - excellent food and setting and very close. Clonakilty is the nearest town we frequented and is wonderful. Pretty shops and good restaurants and all other amenities. Sea Court is a true delight. Our only suggestion is that it would be nice to have outside chairs and a table. We had perfectly splendid weather and could have used the beautiful front lawn often. My dealings with Katia at your firm were always efficient and she handled all my inquiries promplty.

Comments:
This was a wonderful, spacious country home. It was most comfortable with several sitting areas for guests to read, play cards, talk, etc. The bedrooms are enormous and each has a bath which was a real treat. The kitchen was large enough for the 9 of us to sit in and it was amply supplied with everything we needed. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed the herd of cows in the far pasture. The house is near a small village of Butlerstown but the nearest town with choice of restaurants, shops, etc. was about 10 miles away. Cars are a necessity. There are lovely walks nearby and a wonderful restaurant in a nearby home, Otto's, which was walkable as well. We would definitely recommend this home to any large group for a wonderful, relaxing stay.

Comments:
Pub meals were walking distance, Killarney sights handy, but the home and views it afforded of the Gap of Dunloe were hard to leave!

Comments:
Our house was on Sheep's Head Peninsula. The peninsula was picturesque, yet uncrowded. The peninsula had a very scenic hiking trail, the Sheep's Head Way.
