We cook, we clean, we change poopy diapers, and let's face it—sometimes "girls just wanna have fu-un," to quote Cyndi Lauper. Of course, we women love to travel for romance and adventure, but every once in a while we simply want to let our hair down and get silly with a group of really good girlfriends—whether it's a girls' night out at a local watering hole or a girlfriends' getaway half-way around the world.

We were inspired to write this report by a trip that Hideaways Travel Consultant Katia Lillis recently helped plan for five girlfriends. The group of women, all of whom enjoy gardening, traveled to the world-famous Chelsea Flower Show in London this past May, and then flew on to Paris (can you say "shopping"?) for a few days.

Hideaways member Judith Hancock of West Virginia spearheaded the planning process after she and her husband visited a couple that are temporarily living in Cambridge, England. "My friend asked, ?Why don't you come back for the Chelsea Flower Show?' And that's all it took to get the ball rolling."
