Long Bay Beach Resort, Tortola (N. Shore, West)

Getting there: Resort is on the far northwestern end of the island (there are several bays called Long Bay, which is a bit confusing). A fairly long drive or taxi ride from Beef Island airport (about 40 minutes) along semi-congested—at least around Road Town and other spots. Short cab ride from West End ferry.

Location/setting: Really nice. Secluded but not too remote, at least not from N. Shore (Carrot Bay, Cane Garden Bay) and West End dining, bars, etc. A bit far from Road Town and shopping.

Character: Secluded, mixed resort development on substantial acreage set between mountainous backdrop and long white sandy beach.
