"We're so happy to share our favorite eating spot in Rincon, which is a surfer's Mecca, home to many mainland ex-pats, and our favorite getaway for just the two of us. We first met Joe in 2000, and yes, he is always smiling. At the time, he assisted in the kitchen at dinner and then late at night at the Garden Bar, still smiling. His creative hamburgers and catch-of-the-day specialties are always carefully prepared, incorporating local flavors with flair and--you guessed it--a smile. During our most recent visit in March 2006, we were delighted to see that Joe was still there and was now the owner, manager, and director of all food and beverage service. His following has grown, so reservations at dinner are recommended. Prices are moderate and value-packed."
