This gleaming white Pointe Milou home is an eclectic mix of Mediterranean cultures—Ibizian, Greek, and Moroccan—plus the Hermes touches of its owner, the proprietor of the Gustavia Hermes shop. The casual arrangements of Catherine Feric's family photos, original art, favorite books, and a host of other "neat stuff" contribute to the relaxed, lived-in ambiance throughout the home. We really liked the handsome Moroccan room, where oversized pillows and throws invite you to sink in and unwind. Los Leones sits atop a rocky hill, and the dramatic seascapes afforded by this perch seem part of the rooms, thanks to expanses of glass. The old saw about the "best seat in the house" certainly rings true for one of the oceanfront bathrooms.

At the bottom of the steep, twisty trail leading from the house, you'll find a private terrace and pavilion, but no sandy beach. The snorkeling is probably good off this beach, but the pool, surrounded by broad terraces, offers the easiest swimmming.

The Ferics' three-bedroom villa, which sleeps six, has served as the backdrop for fashion photographers and is sought by VIPs. The price for a week in this area is in the "if you have to ask" category—$27,500 in high season. ('99-'00)
