Hideaways' Review |
Windward is a private 5-bedroom luxury villa for rent on the exclusive Sandy Lane Estate on Barbados' West Coast, with its own fully equipped, air-conditioned gym, media room and swimming pool. Ideally situated just 5 minutes away from Sandy Lane Beach, with golf and tennis a short walk away, Windward is the perfect choice for guests wanting to experience luxury Caribbean living with the freedom of a home away from home.
An excellent choice for families or groups of friends, Windward's five bedroom suites spread across two storeys. The stunning Master suite located on the upper floor features a study, full-length patio, dressing area and a floor-to-ceiling marble ensuite bathroom. The two other upper level bedroom suites also feature private patios overlooking the gardens and pool and the courtyard, respectively. On the ground floor, the garden bedroom suite opens onto a private patio with direct access to the grounds and pool deck.
The property is spacious, with attractively landscaped gardens, modern facilities and complimentary wifi. Key features include a large media room with multimedia 50 inch Smart TV and surround sound. The two dining areas each comfortably seat 10. The outdoor dining gazebo features a circular coral stone dining table and views of the beautifully landscaped gardens.
There is a large coral stone pool deck with sun loungers and umbrellas along with table and chairs. The pool house encompasses a covered bar area, BBQ and bathroom facilities including a shower.
Windward comes complete with a full staff of cook, housekeeper, laundress, nightly security guard, gardener, personal villa manager and a concierge service to organize and book any activities or excursions. Guests also enjoy the luxury of Holetown, 5 minutes to the north, with its lively atmosphere on Second Street with plentiful bars and a variety of restaurants, or venturing further north to Speightstown for some authentic local flavor and freshly caught fish. |
