Hideaways' Review
"You can have it all. You just can't have it all at once," we've heard Oprah Winfrey opine. Obviously, she's never had a poolside massage on a Celebrity Cruise. Consistently touted as one of the top large cruise lines in the world, Celebrity offers sophisticated, stylish cruising, first-class amenities and service, award-winning dining—and the tons of fun and games that come with big-ship cruising. But Celebrity never rests on its laurels. Recent upgrades include ever more enrichment programs, "welcome aboard" sparkling wine and mimosas, a spa café dinner option, wine tastings, revamped sports decks and fitness centers, and the innovative Acupuncture at Sea program. Celebrity ships also feature the largest spas on the ocean, remarkable private art collections, roomy staterooms in all categories, piano lounges, martini bars, and terrific alternative dining restaurants.
In the "bigger-is-better" category comes its newest, 2,850-passenger, ultra-spacious Celebrity Solstice, with its real, growing-grass lawn for barefoot pleasures and picnics on its top deck. And with the Celebrity Exotics itineraries (the Pacific Islands, Australia/New Zealand, South America, and more), you now can choose from even more unusual cruise experiences, including naturalist adventures in the Galapagos Islands aboard the 98-passenger Celebrity Xpedition. The cruise line successfully reaches out to multi-generational travelers of late: Youngsters and teens will appreciate being catered to with the activities-filled X-Club program, while those looking for that extra bit of pampering can avail themselves of the line's Concierge Class, with its fresh-cut flowers, daily fruit basket, dining and seating preferences, and express luggage delivery. From our perspective, Celebrity Cruises does have it all, and is perfectionist about delivering it to you. |
